Bringing the Songs to Life

Richard Sinclair's live performances present a carefully crafted instrumental journey through his musical career, featuring reimagined arrangements of songs from Murmurs of Earth alongside selected tracks from his solo catalogue. Drawing inspiration from a lifetime of songwriting and a passion for electronic music, each performance offers audiences a fresh perspective on familiar compositions.

Designed for intimate venues, grassroots festivals and special showcase events, these performances place the music firmly at centre stage. Combining atmospheric electronic soundscapes with engaging live musicianship, Richard creates a relaxed and immersive concert experience that celebrates both the art of performance and the enduring appeal of thoughtfully crafted songs.

What to expect

Each performance presents a carefully chosen collection of songs from Murmurs of Earth and Richard's solo catalogue, reimagined as instrumental live arrangements. Familiar melodies are given a fresh perspective, allowing the music to breathe in a way that's unique to the live setting.

The performance combines live keyboards and synthesisers with carefully programmed electronic sequences, creating a rich, immersive sound while remaining a genuinely live musical experience. Rather than relying on pre-recorded backing tracks, every performance is built around live musicianship and real-time performance.

The Journey Begins

Richard returned to live performance with a special appearance at The Purple Turtle in Reading in June 2026, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter.

The evening brought together songs from Murmurs of Earth alongside selected favourites from his wider catalogue, reconnecting Richard with live audiences after many years away from the stage.

With an enthusiastic response from fans and music lovers alike, plans are now underway to take these performances to venues across the UK.

Additional dates will be announced here as they are confirmed, and Richard looks forward to sharing these songs with audiences old and new in the months ahead.
